Journey School Lynnwood

JSL follows an emergent curriculum philosophy, that is both child-led and play based. To stay in line with this we have adopted the Floorbook model founded by Claire Warden, to document all curriculum. With this, parents can expect to see more focused/quality documentation via BrightWheel (BW) that highlights the learning and thought process of the children. We call these ‘Observations.’ Observations will appear in each child's BrightWheel feed and will serve as part of their digital portfolio. If your child is in attendance full-time you can expect to see
